Estate tempo di festival e di mare. E
queste meravigliose coste bagnate dall’Adriatico.
In principio fu il Garden. E poi Dimensions, Outlook, Hideout e tanti altri. L’ultimo in
europei.
Summer
is the season of festivals and sea. This bond applies above all to Croatia,
become by now adopted country for some of the best electronic music festivals
in Europe.
Everything
begins with the Garden. Then Dimensions, Outlook, Hideout and many
others. The last one is Unknown, born
in 2013 and ready to become the next big thing.
In mezzo c’è lo zampino degli
inglesi.
n’è tanta a Rovigno, nell’Istria meridionale. A pochi passi dal confine
italiano.
cristallina. Del resto lo slogan dell’Unknown
non dà adito a dubbi: It’s not just
about music.
Behind
the Unknown there are the English.
Created by the crews of Sound Channel/Hideout,
Warehouse Project, Field Day, it’s the outcome of the
British organisational experience and the Croatian natural beauty. As far as
the beauty is concerned, the location is all but not ordinary: Rovinj, a pure
pearl situated on the Istrian coast.
The
festival is set within a camping park, immersed in an earthly paradise of
flowers, forests and crystalline water. Moreover the Unknown slogan is meaningful: It’s
not just about music. It’s about music, art, nature, it’s above all
suspension of the everyday life in order to gain a higher dimension.
Siete mai stati a un festival
“marittimo”? Noi di ElectroMode sì, l’anno scorso in Corsica al Calvi on the Rocks.
quelle sonore.
La line-up è di primissima qualità: Dj Harvey, John Talabot, Jamie XX, Dixon, Dj
Koze, Michael Mayer, James Holden, Tale of Us, Mano Le Tough, Wild Beasts, Erol
Alkan, London Grammar, Moderat, Disclosure, Le Chic, Kink e tanti altri.
Have
you ever been to a “maritime” festival? Last year ElectroMode went to Corsica
in occasion of Calvi on the Rocks.
Great experience! But we have the feeling that Unknown is one step beyond. It’s all about waves: sea waves and
sound waves.
The
line-up is massive: Dj Harvey, John
Talabot, Jamie XX, Dixon, Dj Koze, Michael Mayer, James Holden, Tale of Us,
Mano Le Tough, Wild Beasts, Erol Alkan, London Grammar, Moderat, Disclosure, Le
Chic, Kink and many others. For five days – from the 8th to the
12th of September – the leading producers of electronic music are
gonna play in Croatia, ready to give love through the musical notes.
